ON THE TRACKS OF THE SCALIGERI
A journey of discovery of the Verona shore of Lake Garda and the morainic hills, along the north-western borders of the Scaligeri area.
The north-western border of the Scaligeri area, called “Colonello della Gardesana”, was marked by the Verona shore of Lake Garda and the River Mincio.
Along this border, to protect the territory of Verona, the Scaligeri built castles and fortresses that can now be visited along this unusual route stretching about 80 km between Verona and Malcesine.
